Education Austin Negotiates 3% Pay Raise for all AISD Teachers and Staff

AISD teachers and all certified and classified staff will receive an average 3% pay raise thanks to the work of Education Austin, the elected consultation agent for teachers and staff in AISD.

On August 21, Education Austin President Louis Malfaro and AISD Superintendent Meria Carstarphen signed an agreement calling for a 3% raise for teachers and staff.  The new teacher salary tables are attached below.

This raise represents a local and legislative victory for Education Austin and is funded through new state dollars won during the last session of the legislature and with local dollars committed by AISD.
